Apple Releases tvOS 11.3 Beta 6 To Developers For Testing
The latest beta 6 of tvOS 11.3 is designed for the fifth generation Apple TV models. If you’re a developer, you have the option available to download it onto your Apple TV right now. However, be sure to note that a proper profile is required which can be installed using Xcode and Apple Configurator tool.
If you have been keeping track of all the latest beta versions, you should note that the version will probably come with support for AirPlay 2, enabling the set-top box to be added in the Home app as part of the HomeKit setup from Apple. This will allow users to enable multiple Apple TV models in individual rooms to play the same song. While the functionality was removed in tvOS beta 3, there’s no official word if Apple is planning to add it again.
Other features and improvements include Match Content support, automatic mode switching and automatic frame switching support and more.
